JumpClimb and ArtLab have been collaborating in projects & events since 2012. This additional collaboration has provided more opportunities for artists to submit artworks into our collection.
Google Street View Picture: The Alexander Building at the intersection of Walcott & Beaufort Street, Mt Lawley
JumpClimb, responsible for many diverse events in Perth, including the management of the Beaufort Street Festival and Fringe Festival's Noodle Palace, have opened the stairwells walls leading to level 1 of the Alexander Building in Mt Lawley to artists wishing to submit artworks.
The stairs leading to level 1 of the Alexander building are at first hard to find, although they are accessed everyday by members of the creative industries, they are accessible from the back entrance to the chemist via the carpark.
The Alexander Building is shared with all sorts of creative companies, providing exposure to the artworks displayed by the many of clients visiting for meetings.
This space is run as an extension of the Perth collection which can be submitted into Creative Labs.
Our Perth curator, Ziggy, manages the artworks submitted into the collection and nominates artworks for relocation into this Stairwell Gallery.
Purchases of artworks are available with EFTPOS at Reception (top of stairs).
