Presence
Currently ArtLab has teamed up with 'A Loft Story' to provide the first ArtLab Galleries space in Sydney. Located in Newtown, a very active cultural area of Sydney. We hope this project will kick off to provide the opportunities for artists to meet each other and start the same projects we started in Perth Western Australia.
People
Sydney is the home town of ArtLab's founder, Luke Halpin. With his contacts in Sydney, Jamey Oughton has put up his hand to be the Leader of Sydney and carry out the ArtLab mission leading up to 2020.
We are currently seeking a Gallery Curator and other people to jump onboard and allow ArtLab be their platform for doing projects they have always dreamed of doing.
Objectives
ArtLab aims to be the main name for people to think of when considering involving local artists in their events, or when seeking particular skills to assist in their projects. We hope to grow large enough to start sending and swapping artists between cities in Australia.
Opportunities
All ready we have provided mural opportunities to artists in Sydney. We are working towards a global 2020 initiative and once we reach our goals, we will be able to provide more and more opportunities.
For now we encourage artists to sign up via our website forms to begin the process and seeking those opportunities.
